About Me
I am a second-year PhD student at MIT EECS advised by Sara Beery and supported by the MIT Presidential Fellowship and NSF GRFP. I'm interested in bringing automation to scientific discovery, including by building systems and agents that can autonomously carry out scientific data collection, data science, and analysis.
Previously I was a coterminal master's student at Stanford majoring in Computer Science, where I was a research assistant at the Stanford Vision and Learning Lab and VL4AI Research Lab under Ehsan Adeli and Hamid Rezatofighi.
I have interned at Google Research, Google Photos, SpaceX, and NVIDIA, working on
- Enabling domain experts to create new vision classifiers in real-time using foundation models
- Launch control software for Starship and ground support systems
- Creating and optimizing a deep learning-based 3d body pose detection pipeline
- Developing the Google Photos web interface, focusing on new sharing features
I'm also interested in medical and biological applications of AI, working with Dr. Jeff Choi to advance practical use of deep learning and computer vision by doctors. Some of prevoius research also includes genetic sequence analysis with CNNs. Check out some of these works below!
